Taylor Improves to No. 13 in USTFCCCA Ratings

The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its latest batch of NAIA Ratings recently, with the Taylor women's indoor track and field team moving up one spot to No. 13.

The Trojans improved their national standing with an impressive showing at the Midwest Invite on February 4, winning six individual events, hitting eight NAIA standards and breaking two program records.

Those results improved Taylor's season numbers to a total of 15 NAIA standards from eight student-athletes. The list of Trojans set to compete at NAIA Nationals on March 2 through 4 already includes Lynae Ackley, Audrey Altum, Audrey Brinkruff, Mollie Gamble, Patience Sakeuh, Kiana Siefert, Ahna VanderWall and Noel VanderWall.

The trio of Sakeuh, Ahna and Noel VanderWall have also set new program records this season, with Sakeuh having done so in the 200-meters, Ahna VanderWall in the 5,000-meters and Noel VanderWall in the 3,000-meters.

No. 13 Taylor will look to add to that list when it competes at the Crossroads League Championships at Indiana Wesleyan on February 17 and 18.
