Seasonal Part-Time Position Available At Park Dept
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY - Elwood Haynes Museum
Seasonal part-time position available at the City of Kokomo at the Kokomo Parks & Recreation Department for a Curator. Job duties include but are not limited to the following: basic office skills (answering phones, scanning, email, making copies, etc.), interacting with the public, guided tours of the museum, antique display development and upkeep, and facility janitorial duties (sweeping, keeping inside restrooms clean, etc.).
Ability to establish effective working relationship with other employees, supervisors, and the public is necessary along with ability to work as a team or alone on projects. Must be dependable, responsible, and willing to learn historical information presented in the Elwood Haynes Museum. Must be 18 years old or older.
Hours vary as museum open hours change with season but are primarily mid-day, afternoons, and weekends.
